World Fuel Services Corp. may have discriminated against a former human resources employee based on her military status when it delayed promoting her and then later denied her another promotion that her five of co-workers received.
Maria McSwain raised multiple questions for a jury on several of her discrimination and retaliation claims under the Uniform Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act, the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida said.
