On the 23rd, Yang Hong-won’s agency AP Alchemy denied the infidelity claims through an official SNS post, stating, "The accuser’s claims are false, and the evidence presented are maliciously edited materials."
The agency claimed the accuser demanded money and threatened Yang Hong-won and the woman involved, then made false allegations after their demands were rejected. Accordingly, Yang Hong-won and the woman filed a complaint against the accuser for extortion, violation of the Stalking Punishment Act, and defamation through false statements.
However, they admitted to accompanying the accuser to a motel. The agency explained, "After finishing a performance, Yang Hong-won drank at the accuser’s home.
