Yazmet Pérez - The National Law Review

Yazmet focuses her practice in health law and labor law, offering clients tailored advice to navigate the regulatory and compliance complexities of the healthcare industry as well as serving as day to day counsel for employers in labor related matters, including but not limited to compliance, drafting and review of protocols and policies amongst other matters. Prior to joining MZLS, Yazmet served as in-house counsel for different hospital systems where she dealt with a myriad of health compliance matters as well as ongoing labor negotiations, policy review, and disputes with organized and non-organized labor.

Representing hospitals, healthcare providers, pharmacies, medical supply distributors, and other members of the health industry in a wide range of health law matters, from licensing and compliance with state and federal regulations to managing relationships between providers and medical facilities. Her in-depth knowledge of health law enables her to guide clients effectively through the complexities of regulatory compliance, supporting their operational and legal needs.

In-depth knowledge of the day-to-day management of employer-employee relations. Primary emphasis on providing clients with continued preventive and remedial counseling, on a wide variety of workforce/management issues as a strategy to minimize litigation. We also represent employers and businesses in labor disputes, whether it's in court litigation, arbitration, mediation, or appellate procedures.
