After that, the rest is history, as they say. But after all these years, a football teammate, who became an NFL legend, came out to claim that Johnson’s $800 million career beginnings are entirely based on lies.

On The Rich Eisen Show, NFL legend Warren Sapp talked about his former teammate, The Rock. When the host asked him if he played next to Johnson, Sapp abruptly corrected him by saying that Johnson played behind him. He also added that Johnson was sitting on the sidelines when he was playing on the field.

The host further delved into Johnson’s story about his position at the University of Miami, but Sapp also denied it. He claimed that Johnson was never a starter at the University of Miami. When Eisen asked why Johnson spun the story that way, Sapp had a quick remark. He said, “Because he’s in Hollywood and you make it up. You follow the script, he’s good at it. Following the script, he’s damn good at that.

While Sapp’s claim of Johnson’s story of struggle might be true, there is no denying that Johnson has a special connection with football. His dreams of the NFL might have been crushed...
