On Tuesday 24 February, Russia's Foreign Intelligence Service claimed that the United Kingdom and France were actively working to provide Kyiv with a nuclear weapon or at least a "dirty bomb".
Following this, Dmitry Medvedev, former Russian president and Deputy Chairman of Russia's Security Council, issued threats of nuclear strikes against the UK and France.
