When George Terwilliger III appeared in federal court in Georgia a year ago in an election-related lawsuit over mail-in ballots, he wanted to make clear who he was not.
“I am George Terwilliger,” the McGuireWoods partner told the judge in the case. “I’m not Sidney Powell. I’m not Lin Wood. I’m not Rudy Giuliani. Our opponents here have raised the specter of this somehow being related to cases in which those lawyers have made assertions concerning the Georgia process and the election process and election procedures. We have nothing to do with that.”
