(NewsNation) — A former U.S security official who informed his bosses about a UAP monitoring program was not taken seriously despite going through the proper whistleblower process, according to investigative journalist and podcast host Jeremy Corbell.
Corbell told NewsNation’s Elizabeth Vargas that after exhausting all the options he could, former national security official Matthew Brown had no choice but to go public.
Brown told Corbell that he stumbled upon an unacknowledged special access program called “Immaculate Constellation” that collected images and videos of UFO encounters from classified military servers.
But when he decided to tell his bosses, the message was not well received, and no one seemed to act upon his warnings; instead, he was told to delete the files.
After this, Brown decided to seek whistleblower protection and submitted written testimony to Congress, and after several meetings with congressional liaisons, nothing happened, he told Corbell.
