Antiterrorism Certification Claims Rejected in False Claims Suit - Bloomberg Law

The Zionist Advocacy Center’s accusations that Christian Aid made false Antiterrorism certifications to the US Agency for International Development to receive grants in violation of the False Claims Act were properly dismissed, the Second Circuit ruled Thursday.

The US District Court for the Southern District of New York correctly found that it lacked personal jurisdiction over Christian Aid because the UK-based charitable organization doesn’t have sufficient minimum contacts with New York, the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit said in a nonprecedential summary order.
