Argentina has extradited Giorgi Khatiashvili to Georgia, where he is accused of leading a transnational criminal group that allegedly earned millions by fabricating asylum claims for Georgian nationals seeking refuge in the United States, Georgia’s Prosecutor General’s Office has said.
