The measure would prohibit retaliatory investigations and extend whistleblowing protections to additional officers and employees of the federal government. It would establish new safeguards for federal employees for covered whistleblowing activity and clarify that all federal officers and employees have the right to cooperate with congressional requests.
The measure would also streamline procedures for whistleblowing, including access to judicial review.
