Arum elaborated on the drama being created by the rival promoter, Hearn ahead of the historic British blockbuster between the WBC and the Ring heavyweight champion Tyson Fury and WBC mandatory challenger Dillian Whyte on April 23 in the Wembley Stadium in London.
Significantly, according to Arum, the claims made by the Matchroom Boxing’s chairperson were not up to the mark.
He said, “It’s White’s biggest payday and so forth. You know Eddie Hearn can’t keep his mouth shut. I mean I never talk about Eddie Hearn fight. Furthermore, the 90-year-old legend recalled the false ban claim and added, “He said that we’ve banned him from going to the fight. He’s gonna carry Whyte’s bucket he said, so he can get to the fight. What kind of crazy s*** is that? If he called me up, you don’t think I’d get him a ticket?”
