Brevard Supervisor of Elections faces calls to 'fix' voter rolls - Florida Today

Simmering behind the scenes, the national battle over election integrity pushed by false claims of widespread voter fraud in 2020 has made it to Brevard County.

On one side is Lori Scott, Brevard's supervisor of elections, who is being forced to confront claims of election irregularities by those bent on proving former President Donald Trump's narrative that he is the rightful winner of the 2020 race that elevated Joe Biden to the presidency.

On the other side is Defend Florida, a grassroots organization pushing the stolen presidential claims while fighting Scott over tens of thousands of Brevard voters who it says are ineligible to vote.

Making matters more complicated for Scott is the fact that Defend Florida now has the backing of the Brevard Republican Executive Committee, which approved a resolution supporting Defend Florida's efforts to sow doubt about the legitimacy of the people on the county's voter rolls.
