A federal district court in Kansas granted summary judgment to the Wichita Police Department on a 58-year-old, female, Chinese detective’s claims of discrimination and retaliation in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and state law alleging she was unfairly disciplined, not selected for promotions, and denied transfers based on her age, sex, and race.
