A Louisiana federal district court denied the city of New Orleans’s motion to dismiss a criminal investigator’s 14th Amendment due process rights claim alleging she was deprived of a vested property right when the city terminated her for opposing discriminatory and unethical practices, and reporting state and federal violations.
