Case: Wage & Hour/FMLA Retaliation (W.D. Okla.) - Bloomberg Law

An Oklahoma federal district court ruled that American Fidelity Assurance Company isn’t entitled to summary judgment on a terminated supervisor’s claims of retaliation under the Family and Medical Leave Act, finding that there was temporal proximity between when she took FMLA leave and her termination, and that American Fidelity’s proffered reason for terminating her—complaints made by her subordinates—was pretextual.
