Claims RNAQ made on Delay Show are false - Joana Quaye's lawyers - GhanaWeb

The legal team representing Joana Quaye, estranged wife of entrepreneur Richard Nii Armah Quaye, has described allegations made by the Bills Microcredit CEO in a recent television interview as substantially untrue.

They stated that granting the interview while appellate proceedings are active amounts to an attempt to undermine the administration of justice.

In a press release dated April 27, 2026, the firm Messrs Dame & Partners, led by former Attorney-General Godfred Yeboah Dame, said the interview granted by RNAQ to broadcaster Deloris Frimpong Manso, known as Delay, on her widely watched Delay Show, contained claims that unfairly attacked the reputation and integrity of their client.

“Whilst denying all the allegations made by Richard Nii Armah Quaye as untrue, we state that the matters he sought to address are already a matter of public record, documented in court proceedings, and cannot be changed by a self-serving ex post facto interview with ‘Delay’,” the statement read.

The lawyers accused RNAQ of deliberately timing the interview to coincide with active proceedings before the Court of Appeal, describing it as a calculated move to sway public opinion against Joana Quaye.
