Jacquelyn Farrish admitted to submitting false claims that her estranged husband was providing her personal care for nearly five years, despite the fact that they lived in different parts of Virginia.

Officials said she used his personal information to submit fraudulent claims from Oct. 2018 to Feb. 2023, claiming nearly 10,000 hours of care that never occurred.
Last week, Farrish pleaded guilty to one count of health care fraud.
