Dentons has launched an Employment and Labor practice in Brussels with the addition of Christophe Delmarcelle as a partner. Delmarcelle will develop and lead the firm’s employment law offering in Belgium, expanding Dentons’ ability to advise companies on domestic and cross-border workforce matters.
He brings more than 20 years of experience advising national and international businesses across the full range of employment law issues.
His practice includes individual and collective dismissals, business transfers, corporate restructurings, workplace data privacy, trade secrets, executive compensation and employee benefits.
Delmarcelle previously built and led Bird & Bird’s Brussels employment and compensation practice for eight years.
He later co-led the practice at DKW and has operated his own specialized employment law firm, DEL-Law, since 2020.
Delmarcelle is a member of the Brussels and Luxembourg Bars and has served as a supplemental judge at the Brussels Labor Tribunal since 2010.
He has written and spoken extensively on issues including employee stock options, workplace data privacy and cross-border employment matters.
Dentons said the appointment strengthens its ability to advise clients on complex human resources, labor and workforce matters in Belgium while connecting those capabilities with the firm’s broader international platform.
