Domino's Driver Must Arbitrate Wage Claims Against Franchisees - Bloomberg Law

A Domino’s Pizza delivery driver is contractually obligated to arbitrate his wage-and-hour allegations against a group of franchisees with stores in nine states, a federal judge in Minnesota said Monday.

Delivery driver Nick Mainville argued that the arbitration agreement he signed with the pizza outlets, whose corporate owners make up the “Team Honey Badger” franchise operation, is unconscionable. But it’s actually “valid and enforceable” and encompasses the wage claims, the US District Court for the District of Minnesota said.
