A thought-leader in HR, frequently speaking on and conducting client trainings on relevant matters, Jennifer Mirus has spent her career representing employers.
Mirus is an attorney at Boardman Clark, where she’s spent three decades specializing in employment relation matters like wage and hour issues, discrimination claims, FMLA and ADA, hiring and terminations, harassment claims and disciplinary actions. Her practice includes litigation and workplace investigations. Mirus’s HR prowess includes drafting handbooks, contracts and non-compete agreements.
She is the co-chairperson of the firm’s Labor and Employment Law Group and chairperson of the Executive Committee.
Mirus earned her J.D. with honors from the University of Wisconsin Law School. Following law school, she clerked for Chief Judge William Eich in the Wisconsin Court of Appeals until she joined Boardmen Clark.
