KUALA LUMPUR: A former contractor pleaded not guilty at the Sessions Court here over seven counts of making false claims in connection with the supply of cattle and milking machine worth RM3.7 million.
A. Dominic Antoni, 52, made the plea before judge Azura Alwi today.
The accused was charged with two counts of submitting two false delivery orders to a assistant veterinary officer for the supply of milking machines and cattle milk coolers totalling RM1.5 million that were never actually supplied between Jan 5 and March 25, 2016.
The accused was also charged with four counts of submitting false delivery orders and invoices related to the supply of 441 cattle, out of which 171 cattle valued at RM1.96 million were never supplied between April 16 and Sept 5, 2017.

He was also charged with the same offence involving the supply of a non-existing milk parlour, valued at RM350,000, between Sept 15 and Dec 17, 2015.
The offence falls under Section 18 of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Act 2009, and is punishable under Section 24 (2) of the same Act. It carries a maximum jail term of 20 years and a fine of five times the value of the offence committed, or RM10,000,...
