The prosecution of British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell for sex trafficking continues to create an array of social media claims.
A May 9 Facebook post claims Maxwell received a 10-year prison sentence for her crimes.
"Ghislaine Maxwell got 10 years and NOT one client has been arrested," reads the post, which accumulated close to 400 interactions and 300 shares in less than a week.
But Maxwell is set to be sentenced in June, according to news reports.
Maxwell faces a maximum sentence of 55 years in prison after she was found guilty of federal charges related to sex trafficking.

USA TODAY could not reach the Facebook user who shared the claim for comment.
Maxwell is scheduled to be sentenced on June 28, the court docket shows.
In December 2021, Maxwell was found guilty by a jury in a New York federal court of luring underage girls to be sexually abused by the late Jefferey Epstein from 1994 to 2004.
Maxwell sought to have her conviction overturned, and in April U.S. Circuit Court Judge Alison Nathan partially granted that request. Nathan upheld three of the counts but dismissed two others on the basis that they were duplicative of another charge that was upheld.
