Our investigation found the claim to be misleading. The video was originally posted on the blog site The Daily Netizen, which reported that a Filipina nurse was caught on camera allegedly shoplifting over $300 worth of merchandise from a store in the United States. CCTV footage shows her casually browsing before discreetly concealing several items.

We also found the same video on a YouTube channel called Bodycam Edition, titled “Entitled Nurse Caught Red-Handed Stealing HUNDREDS from Target Before Work,” which likewise indicated that she was from the Philippines, not India.

Thus, our fact-check confirms that the claim is false. The woman in the viral video is not an Indian Hindu nurse, but a Filipina nurse involved in a shoplifting incident in the US.
