Fisher-Titus raises minimum wage - The Morning Journal

Fisher-Titus has raised its minimum wage to $16 per hour effective with the first pay period in July, according to a news release from the medical center.

“While the past two years have proven to be both trying and uncertain, one thing has remained a constant: our employees have done an incredible job caring for our patients and making a difference in our community,” said Dr. Brent Burkey, president and CEO of Fisher-Titus in the release. “That is why I am very pleased to announce that with the support of our Board of Directors, we are making significant investments into our employees and our communities by raising wages.

“While many health care entities across the nation are making cuts, Fisher-Titus continues to find ways to enhance and retain our workforce. Our most valuable asset are our employees.”

Fisher-Titus currently is hiring for multiple positions, both part-time and full time and with various available shifts, according to the release.

It offers industry competitive benefits including medical and dental coverage, 401K match, paid time off, tuition assistance and more, the release said.
