A former federal immigration prosecutor and a whistleblower who has spoken out against the Trump administration’s leadership has gone to Capitol Hill with a statement that the Department of Justice’s internal watchdog offices allegedly are not investigating him and other complaints.

The lawyers of Erez Reuveni say that the DOJ Office of the Inspector General did not investigate “any of the serious allegations of violations” submitted over the last 15 months, including complaints from members of Congress, according to a letter forwarded to the chairs of the House and Senate Judiciary Committees.
