Six years after Kirk Tonkin resigned from his West Linn police job out of frustration that police brass and city leaders wouldn’t heed his whistleblower allegations of misconduct within the agency, he’s now applying to return to the department.
Tonkin has worked for more than two years as an investigator for the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office and previously for the county’s Department of Community Justice.
