France Increases Minimum Wage, Effective Jan. 1, 2023 - Bloomberg Tax

France’s minimum wages are to increase Jan. 1, a decree published in the country’s gazette on Dec. 23 said.

The standard hourly minimum wage is to be 11.27 euros (US$11.99), up from 11.07 euros in effect since Aug. 1, the decree (French) said. The standard monthly minimum wage is to be 1,709.28 euros, up from 1,678.95 euros. The monthly minimum wage is based on a 35-hour workweek.

The standard minimum wages apply to metropolitan France, the overseas departments except Mayotte, and the overseas collectivities of St. Barthélemy, St. Martin, and St. Pierre and Miquelon.
