From Law to Lived Experience: Workplace Equity in Practice | International Women's Day 2026 - Russell Kennedy

The Russell Kennedy Women’s Network (RKWN) warmly invites you to a special lunchtime panel in recognition of International Women’s Day.

This year, International Women’s Day 2026 is marked globally under the UN Women theme “Rights. Justice. Action. In honour of this theme, we are pleased to be hosting a panel discussion exploring this theme through the lens of workplace justice, examining how legal reforms are experienced in practice and what remains to be done to achieve genuine equality at work.

Our event will allow time for questions and we encourage attendees to stay for informal networking over light refreshments following the discussion.

The panel will be moderated by Russell Kennedy Principal, Libby Pallot, who is the head of Russell Kennedy’s Workplace Relations, Employment and Safety Practice.

She has been recognised by Best Lawyers for her expertise in Employee Benefits Law and Occupational Health and Safety Law since 2014, and was ranked as a Recommended Employment Lawyer and Workplace Health and Safety Lawyer by Doyle’s Guide in Victoria 2025.
