Georgia republican candidate defies backlash after reporting Hyundai factory to ICE - 조선일보

Tory Bramblett, a politician claiming to be the whistleblower who prompted U.S. immigration authorities to raid a South Korean conglomerate’s factory in Georgia, revealed he has been subjected to a “text bomb” campaign. Bramblett responded by posting a photo of a rifle and stating, “I am not afraid,” but as criticism escalated, he deleted all family photos, and even his daughter warned of legal action.

Bramblett told *Rolling Stone* in an interview on the 5th that he reported the Hyundai Motor Group-LG Energy Solution joint battery factory construction site to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for alleged illegal activities, saying, “I feel good. What’s right is right, and what’s wrong is wrong.” A former U.S. Marine Corps firearms instructor and Republican candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in Georgia’s 12th District, Bramblett is a staunch supporter of former President Donald Trump.

Bramblett claimed rumors had long circulated about illegal workers at South Korean companies’ factories. “The reason I voted for Trump was precisely to deport a large number of illegal residents,” he said. “And what I wanted is now happening.”
