A law increasing Germany’s standard hourly minimum wage Oct. 1 and updating the maximum monthly wage thresholds for mini-jobs and midi-jobs was published in the country’s gazette June 30.
The law (German) increases the standard hourly minimum wage to 12 euros (US $12.51) Oct. 1. An increase to 10.45 euros is also scheduled to occur July 1.
