Jake Shields joined Gibson Dunn as a partner and member of its False Claims Act, litigation, and white collar defense and investigations practice groups in Washington, the firm announced Monday.
Shields handles matters involving allegations of health-care fraud, financial fraud, procurement fraud, and customs fraud, as well as violations of the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, Tariff Act, Payroll Protection Program, and restrictions on off-label marketing of prescription drugs, the firm said.
Shields joins from the Justice Department, where he senior counsel handling civil fraud litigation, including cybersecurity fraud cases.
