This change might unfairly burden married men, who often need to prove their innocence, as the onus of proof frequently lies with the accused. Evidence in these cases is typically limited to the testimonies of the victim and the accused, with minimal chance for additional proof. Installing cameras in bedrooms, leaving windows open for observation, or seeking written consent for intimate acts is impractical. These measures could lead to significant complications within the Indian legal system, entangling courts and law enforcement.
