Jiffy Lube International Inc. will pay $2 million to exit antitrust litigation challenging “no poach” clauses that barred its franchise owners from recruiting workers at other affiliated car maintenance shops, according to federal court filings in Philadelphia.

The ex-employee leading the lawsuit sought approval for the class action settlement from Judge Anita B. Brody, who’s presiding over the case in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. The recovery “represents approximately 90% of the estimated damages,” the filing said.
