Jonathan Majors Domestic Violence Accuser Threatened Suicide, NY DA Tells Trial; Defense Claims Prosecution Want To “Distract” Jury - Deadline

Assistant Manhattan district attorney, Michael Perez told jurors that Majors was worried that Jabbari was threatening suicide, which later was part of her evaluation at a hospital later that night. Later defense lawyer Priya Chaudhry said in her opening statement that Jabbari did threaten suicide. Both Jabbari and and Majors were sitting in the courtroom looking on during the opening statements Monday.
