O.J. Janeesh, State president of the Indian Youth Congress, who won the Assembly election from Kodungalloor, has said that the election results proved that voters have firmly rejected the false propaganda of the Left Democratic Front (LDF).
Speaking to reporters at the Thrissur District Congress Committee office on Tuesday, Mr. Janeesh pointed to the sharp rise in United Democratic Front (UDF) candidate T. Siddique’s majority in Kalpetta, from around 5,000 to 45,000 votes, as clear evidence that people dismissed allegations that the Indian Youth Congress had misused the Wayanad relief funds.
