Queen Of Tears actor Kim Soo-Hyun has been officially cleared of any connection to a violent assault on a whistleblower tied to a manipulated audio recording involving the late actress Kim Sae-Ron. The sensational claims, which spread rapidly online, have now been firmly debunked by Korean authorities.

On May 19, the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in New York issued a statement confirming that no Korean national has been arrested or implicated in any criminal case involving attempted murder or serious charges in the United States. According to the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations, such an arrest would legally require immediate consular notification—none of which has been reported.
The alleged victim, referred to as A, had initially claimed they were stabbed nine times in the neck in New Jersey by two men, one Korean and one Chinese.
