Queen Of Tears actor Kim Soo-Hyun has been officially cleared of any connection to a violent assault on a whistleblower tied to a manipulated audio recording involving the late actress Kim Sae-Ron. The sensational claims, which spread rapidly online, have now been firmly debunked by Korean authorities.

On May 19, the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in New York issued a statement confirming that no Korean national has been arrested or implicated in any criminal case involving attempted murder or serious charges in the United States.
