The boutique firm has added a partner with almost a decade of experience in private and public legal sector roles.
Boutique Kenyan firm KN Law has added Sally Kamau as a partner. The firm announced her arrival on Wednesday (21 October).
Kamau has experience spanning corporate and commercial, regulatory advisory, energy and infrastructure and employment law issues. She also advises clients on significant transactions across sectors including cross-border financing, strategic investments, renewable energy and infrastructure.
KN Law said in a LinkedIn post that Kamau brought “a unique combination of transactional expertise, commercial insight, and practical understanding of the legal and operational needs of businesses” to the firm.
Kamau joined KN Law from her 10-month spell as senior legal counsel for Kenyan municipality Tatu City, where her remit involved work with the city management, development control, and procurement and talent departments.
She started her legal career at Ashitiva Advocates in 2018 and was elevated to senior associate in 2023. She spent eight months as acting head of the firm’s corporate and commercial department in 2024 before her transfer to a senior associate role in the projects and infrastructure department the same year.
In other developments from the Kenyan legal sector, RONN Law appointed Sean Omondi as managing partner in June this year, replacing Anthony Njogu, who departed after six years in the leadership role.
