KPMG barred from bidding for federal work for three months - AFR

KPMG has agreed to stop bidding for federal government work for at least three months while the Finance Department investigates the firm, escalating the fallout over a whistleblower complaint.

The move is a blow to KPMG’s Canberra arm, but will have a limited effect in the short term as it does not cover contract extensions. KPMG holds $270 million in federal contracts, while an additional $330 million in contracts are set to expire on June 30.
