The Labor and Employment Law Section announced the recipients of its 2025 Law Student Scholarships. Eight students from Florida law schools were each awarded $2,500 and a recognition certificate for their academic excellence, professional promise, and demonstrated interest in labor and employment law.
This year’s recipients are:
- Lillian Duncan, Stetson University College of Law
- Sophia Walker, Stetson University College of Law
- Collin O’Keefe, Stetson University College of Law
- Naomi Overlin, Stetson University College of Law
- Lauren Sellers, University of Florida Levin College of Law
- Karina Tarbell, Florida State University College of Law
- Rebecca Rodriguez, University of Miami School of Law
- Danielle Houston, Benjamin L. Crump College of Law
Scholarship applicants must be second- or third-year law students currently enrolled in a Florida law school. Applicants are evaluated on their completed and planned coursework in labor and employment law, related professional experience, internships or job placements, involvement in law school organizations, and pro bono or volunteer service.
