According to the lawsuit filed, Adobe Veterinary Centers, LP allegedly knew of Plaintiff's medical disabilities and need for medical accommodations. Plaintiff met with management to discuss the accommodations, which resulted in Adobe Veterinary Centers, LP denying the good faith request for medical accommodations and placing Plaintiff on medical leave without notice. Adobe Veterinary Centers, LP later on, allegedly, wrongfully terminated Plaintiff. Within the State of California there exists a substantial and fundamental public policy, set forth in the California Government Code §12900, which forbids age and/or medical condition harassment/discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination.
