BECKETT RIDGE, Ohio —
The Lakota Local Schools board met Wednesday night for a special meeting amid an ongoing allegation against the district's superintendent.
The board announced several weeks ago it launched an investigation into allegations made about Superintendent Matt Miller.
The board did not state the nature of the allegations.
WLWT has confirmed the allegations relate to alleged behavior in Miller's personal life several years ago.
Parents and at least one board member are now calling Miller's character into question. WLWT is not detailing the allegations as we cannot confirm their legitimacy and Miller is not being charged with a crime.
An online petition calling for Miller's resignation has garnered over 400 signatures. The district has more than 16,000 students.
The board spent an hour and 10 minutes in executive session Wednesday. While those conversations are private, the board said it was discussing the employment of a public employee and complaints made against the employee.

Following the executive session, school board member Darbi Boddy made several allegations about Miller and called for him to be placed on leave and ultimately terminated.
Miller responded to those comments, saying he is the target of character assassination.
