Last Chance to Sign Up for NJSBA’s Labor & Employment Summit - New Jersey School Boards Association

Time is running out to sign up for the New Jersey School Boards Association’s inaugural Labor & Employment Summit on Sept 28, a cutting-edge virtual event that will include numerous thought leaders, legal experts and school personnel.

The conference is designed as an educational training for school board members, charter school trustees, superintendents, school business administrators, human resource professionals, board attorneys, equal opportunity and diversity officers, directors of curriculum and other school staff.

Robert Asaro-Angelo, the commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development, will be a keynote speaker at the summit, which will start at 9 a.m. and end at 2:30 p.m.

The summit will also feature:

  • Dr. Timothy Purnell, executive director at NJSBA.
  • Katrina T. McCombs, superintendent of the Camden City School District.
  • Dr. Suzanne McCotter, dean, School of Education at The College of New Jersey.
  • J. Kenyon Kummings, superintendent of Wildwood Public Schools
  • Dr. Jeanne DelColle, executive director of the Center of Future Educators at The College of New Jersey.
  • Kathleen Asher, senior manager, Legal and Labor Relations at NJSBA.
  • Charity Comella, director of human resources and affirmative action officer at West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional School District.
