• The new Government was sworn in during a ceremony with the Governor General on Monday, meaning Christopher Luxon is now officially the prime minister.
• The new Luxon-led Cabinet will meet for the first time later today.
• The Government has already agreed to do five things before Christmas, and there are just 20 working days left before the holidays. It says it will produce a Mini Budget, send Luxon to Australia, and repeal or halt changes to international health regulation, resource management and employment law.
