Meta has scaled back the size of its Oculus Studios workforce, which is part of its Reality Labs division.
“Some teams within Oculus Studios are undergoing shifts in structure and roles that have impacted team size,” Tracy Clayton, a spokesperson for the tech giant, told The Verge in a statement.
“These changes are meant to help Oculus Studios work more efficiently on future mixed reality experiences for our growing audience, while still delivering great content for people today.”
Clayton refused to comment on the exact number of jobs cut and if other Meta teams are being trimmed.
