American police said to throw the knife and surrender. Mohammad Altamish did not agree. Then police did what a police officer should do with terrorists."

What are the facts?: The viral claim is false. The video is actually from 8 November 2022, when a man named Jesus Crosby was shot by the Albuquerque Police Department (APD) in the United States.

How did we find that out?: A Google Lens search on the keyframes of the viral clip directed us to a report published by the Albuquerque Journal that carried a similar visual.
It said that Albuquerque Police Department (APD) gunned down a man named Jesus Crosby in November 2022 in the parking lot of the department's headquarters.
The report mentioned that Crosby was carrying nail clippers with the file extended, which was mistaken for a knife by the officers. When the man stepped forward, he was shot by two officers.
Crosby reportedly refused to surrender and was shouting obscenities.
