Oregon's minimum wage is now $14.20 an hour, plus or minus some depending on where you work.
The state standard minimum wage went up 70 cents, from $13.50, starting at 6 a.m. Saturday, July 1. The increase amount is based on inflation.
Under the law, workers in the Portland metro area, which includes parts of Clackamas, Multnomah and Washington counties within the urban growth boundary, get an additional $1.25 an hour, so they now earn $15.45.
