Pay up: Massachusetts minimum wage, lawmaker salaries both increase with New Year - Boston Herald

Thousands of Bay State workers saw their pay increase with the New Year, as a new $15 an hour minimum wage went into effect, a pay rate some advocates say still fails to meet basic household needs.

State leaders like Gov. Elect Maura Healey, meanwhile stand to collect tens of thousands more as their salaries jump with the latest inflation adjustment.
