MORE than 40 of the county’s top HR professionals attended a key employment law seminar in Boreham.
Hosted by recruitment consultants Pursuit Resources Group, the seminar took place at The Lion Inn, Boreham, Essex.
Cas Carrington, partner in the employment specialist law firm, KLC Employment Law, and a highly experienced employment law adviser and tutor, provided invaluable updates on case law, evolving legislation and HR best practice.
It was the latest in a series of successful seminars held by Essex-based Pursuit Resources Group.
The seminars have been established to provide professional development for HR managers and business owners and to keep them aware of key changes in employment law.
Lorraine Phair, managing director of Pursuit Resources Group, said the seminar series has become essential for many businesses.
She said: “Employment law is always far from static.
“However, finding the time to read up on and note all the key changes is a huge challenge for a busy HR manager.
