Restaurant Servers Win Final Wage Deal Nod After Fixing Up Terms - Bloomberg Law

Turning Point Holding Co. LLC and servers who say it denied them fair pay for untipped side work won final approval for a nearly $800,000 settlement after a federal court rejected an earlier version of the deal.

More than 700 workers chose to join the Fair Labor Standards Act collective, and neither they nor any workers in the state-law class, which covers alleged violations of New Jersey and Pennsylvania wage-and-hour laws, objected to the settlement, the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania said.
