The Schumacher Group of Louisiana Inc., which does business as SCP Health, must continue to face a False Claims Act suit alleging improper billing of federal health-care programs for emergency medical services, a California federal district court said.
Whistleblower Kenley Emergency Medicine Corp. adequately alleged fraud with the particularity required by the federal rules of civil procedure, Judge Susan Illston of the US District Court for the Northern District of California said in a May 9 order.
